Farewell to Our Chair

We extend our heartfelt thanks and deep gratitude to Sonja Hodge as she steps down from her role as Chair of the Arts Mildura Board.
Sonja’s leadership has been marked by generosity, wisdom, and unwavering dedication. As the organisation’s first female and first First Nations Chair, her contribution has been both historic and deeply meaningful. Under her guidance, Arts Mildura has continued to grow as a vital, inclusive force in the regional arts landscape.
Sonja brought not only governance skill but also compassion, cultural insight, and a collaborative spirit that will leave a lasting legacy. She will be greatly missed by staff, fellow Board members, and the wider community.
It has been a privilege to work alongside her. We thank Sonja for her outstanding service and wish her every success in the future.
